The building utilizes the complex hillside site to simultaneously nestle occupants and provide a perch above the landscape. The result is a dwelling that provides both respite and a window to the elements. This idea is reflected in the cedar shingle siding that wraps the buildings - providing a log of the building’s journey through the seasons.
